About This Piece

An early oil painting created at the beginning of Bernard’s move towards abstraction and impressionistic painting. Created using the application and subsequent removal of chicken wire during the painting, this canvas also hints towards Bernard’s later utilisation of Objects Trouvés in hiss sculpture.
